A Four Week Meditation Series at KMC Texas

We can get so caught up in stress about the past and the future that we miss what is happening right in front of us. We assume that happiness is coming if we work hard enough, plan well enough, and succeed in our endeavors. This mindset creates a lot of pressure, and for as long as we are stuck in it, true happiness will escape us. Although a future may come, the only moment we actually have is right now.
Through Buddhist meditation we can reduce our tendency to hold onto the past and grasp at the future. We can transform our attitude towards life and discover a greater happiness in each moment. Everyone is welcome!

What to expect:
- Classes are approximately 1-1/4 hours long.
- Classes include two guided meditations and a talk on Buddhism for daily life.
- Occasionally Q&A is offered at the end of the class.
- Although part of a series, each class self-contained so you can check out any single class or jump into the series midstream.

Parking
Validated parking is available for this class. We validate parking only in the Park Place Parking lot directly across from us on the corner of Lamar, Laws, Corbin and Munger directly across from the Temple. Do not pay in the lot. Just tell us your license plate number when you check in and we do the rest!
