Meditation Classes at the Dallas Temple
Meditation is an action of our mind and is the main cause of inner peace.
So come and enjoy drop-in meditation classes at our 8500 square foot downtown Dallas Temple. The Temple offers an ideal setting to improve your meditation practice in an inspiring and peaceful environment.
Drop-in classes are oriented towards those that are new to meditation and Buddhism. Some classes have fees and some are by donation, however no one is ever turned away for lack of funds.
Our classes are great for anyone. We welcome new attendees regardless of religious affiliation, race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender identity, or socio-economic status.

Sunday Meditation Topics
Meditation Classes for Everyone
We must learn to integrate our spiritual practice into our daily activities so that day and night we can maintain the peaceful states of mind and pure intentions that we develop in meditation. In this way, all aspects of our life become our spiritual path.
Dharma for Kids
This class is designed for children in kindergarten and above. We also have a video link for parents with preschoolers, toddlers and infants. Each class will include a short meditation, a Buddhist lesson, and activities to help children increase their patience, respect for others and loving kindness.
Weekday Meditation Topics
So much of the stress and tension we normally experience comes from our mind, and many of the problems we experience, including ill health, are caused or aggravated by this stress. Just by doing breathing meditation for ten or fifteen minutes each day, we can reduce this stress.

Being alive means that we all experience some kind of physical pain or illness at some point in our life, and sometimes these experiences can even be chronic in nature. When we are feeling unwell or in pain, it can be hard to know how to approach the situation in a spiritual manner.
