CURRENT AND UPCOMING Meditation Classes in Fort Worth
Most of the problems in the world today would be solved if everyone cared about each other. So the best way we can respond is by improving our good qualities and helping others do the same. This is the essence of the Buddhist path, and in all of our weekday classes around the metroplex, we share the methods that Buddha shared.
Learning how to cultivate happiness, like a farmer of virtue, is a special skill that we must train in. If we wish to be happy, especially in challenging times and circumstances, then we need to know how to cultivate our mind.
Each class is perfect for beginners! They provide an introduction to meditation and support for starting to practice meditation, mindfulness, and applying Buddhist teachings in daily life.
Class includes two guided meditations, a talk on Buddhism for everyday living, and time for Q&A. Although part of a monthly series, each class is stand alone. Information on the monthly series can be found below.
