What is North Texas Giving Day?

North Texas Giving Day, hosted by Communities Foundation of Texas, is an 18-hour online fundraising event that empowers nonprofits and encourages donors by offering an easy-to-use platform and resources to connect them with local causes they care about. It has become the nation’s largest community-wide giving event.

In 2023, the event raised $63.9 million from 97,132 donors, benefiting 3,249 nonprofits. Since its inception in 2009, North Texas Giving Day has raised over $566 million, transforming from a simple idea into a movement that has fostered a widespread culture of generosity across the region.
