How to Stop Overthinking
A Four Week Meditation Series in Fort Worth, Texas
Mondays from 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm
In-Person Only
Feel free to drop in at any point in the series. Everyone is welcome!
Do you experience a busy mind? Do you struggle with anxiety or overthinking?
Sometimes it can feel that our mind is always busy, stressed, and constantly going with all kinds of thoughts. However, experiences of stress, overthinking, anxiety, and other disturbances are not an intrinsic part of our mind, and so they can be reduced and released completely. No matter how out of control our thoughts seem, the mind can be brought to its actual true nature, a peaceful state of clarity, like the clear sky free from clouds.
In this class, we will learn and be guided in Buddhist meditations that will help calm the busyness and lead us to discover the natural peace of our own mind. Everyone is welcome!
What to expect:
- Classes are approximately 1-1/4 hours long.
- Classes include two guided meditations and a talk on Buddhism for everyday living.
- Occasionally Q&A is offered at the end of the class.
- Although part of a series, each class is self-contained so you can check out any single class or jump into the series midstream.
