Developing compassion and wisdom, and helping those in need whenever possible, is the true meaning of our precious human life.
To be able to help others effectively, we need a profoundly compassionate intention that wishes to free others from their suffering and its causes.
With a compassionate intention we will develop effort, and with effort, we will accomplish our intention.
Please join us in December for a series on how to use Buddhist teachings to develop a compassionate intention and accomplish the purpose of our precious human life.
What to expect:
- Classes are approximately one hour long.
- Classes include two guided meditations and a talk on Buddhism for everyday living.
- Occasionally Q&A is offered at the end of the class.
- Although part of a series, each class is self-contained so you can check out any single class or jump into the series midstream.
