Patience and Inner Strength: Real Solutions for Tense Times
A Four Week Meditation Series in Plano
Mondays from 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm
In-Person Only
Feel free to drop in at any point in the series. Everyone is welcome!
Many people think that being patient requires us to grit our teeth and bear seemingly unbearable difficulties. Then again, many people have never encountered incredibly clear teachings on patience, anger, and the mind.
Join us for a series of classes that will help us cultivate very important qualities of mind that foster inner strength and mental peace. We can learn how to face adversity and challenging or unwanted situations without letting them disturb our inner peace. We can learn to navigate life's difficulties without becoming upset, while also getting good results. Impatience has never been the way to accomplish either of these goals!
Everyone needs good solutions for the challenges in their life, and we welcome you to join us, no matter your experience or background.
What to expect:
- Classes are approximately 1-1/4 hours long.
- Classes include two guided meditations and a talk on Buddhism for everyday living.
- Occasionally Q&A is offered at the end of the class.
- Although part of a series, each class is self-contained so you can check out any single class or jump into the series midstream.
