Buddhism has a positive psychology approach to cultivating happiness and well-being. In these classes, you will learn how to enhance self-awareness, manage stress, and regulate emotions through evidence-based techniques such as mindfulness, gratitude, and compassion. Discover the power of positive relationships, inner peace, and resilience.
May 6 – What Mindfulness Really Is
May 13 – The Power of Gratitude
May 20 – Imagery, Labeling and Creating New Experiences
Everyone is welcome!
What to expect:
- Classes are approximately 1-1/4 hours long.
- Classes include two guided meditations and a talk on Buddhism for everyday living.
- Occasionally Q&A is offered at the end of the class.
- Although part of a series, each class is self-contained so you can check out any single class or jump into the series midstream.
