Caring for Self and Others
A Five Week Meditation Series at KMC Texas
with Fatin Kratochvil
Tuesdays from 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm
In-Person Only
Feel free to drop in at any point in the series. Everyone is welcome!
Join us for a modern Buddhist teaching on how to care for yourself and others with love and compassion. When we are unable to accept our mistakes or shortcomings or feel as if we can’t live up to our own or others’ expectations, we may become depressed and excessively self-critical. This makes it impossible to be happy or make others happy.
Buddha taught the art of profound self-acceptance with many positive methods for conquering our bad mental habits.
Using Buddha’s teachings, we can create a positive self-image, a humble confidence, and an unconditional cherishing of others, regardless of life’s challenges and others’ opinions. In this way, we can create true happiness for ourselves and others.
Topics for this series include:
Why Self Care is not Selfish & The Four Pillars of Self Care
Increasing Inner Peace: From Stress to Strength
