Are you looking to deepen your knowledge and experience of Buddhism?
Our Welcome to Foundation Program class on Tuesday, 9/17, is an excellent opportunity to explore if Foundation Program is right for you. In this class, you'll learn about the purpose and benefits of the program, its structure and commitments, and receive an overview of the text we'll be studying.
Foundation Program is a diverse and vibrant part of the KMC Texas spiritual community dedicated to exploring deeper meaning in life through Buddhism. As we begin this term, we are excited to start with a section focused on the practice of meditation, making it a perfect time for new people to join.
This special study program offers teachings and guided meditations with our Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Menla. You'll also engage in open and thoughtful discussions about your understanding, experience and efforts to integrate these teachings into your life. The connections and friendships that form can be truly transformative and lasting.
Foundation Program is available in person and virtually. Everyone is welcome!

Our Book
Joyful Path of Good Fortune is a commentary on Atisha's Lamrim instructions, outlining the stages of the path to enlightenment. Through studying and practicing this text, we will learn to integrate Buddha's teachings into our daily lives, progressing towards the supreme happiness of enlightenment. Lamrim forms the core of Buddha's teachings, with other teachings serving as complementary aspects.

Cost & Registration
We encourage anyone to try this introductory class before registering for the Foundation Program. There is no cost for this introductory class and no need to register in advance.
Parking is easy!
Abundant metered street parking is available on Lamar, Laws, Griffin, Munger, Corbin and Ross and is less than $1/hour. Download the Parkmobile app on your phone, it's super easy!
A number of lots and garages are also available within walking distance for $6/ day.
