Streams of Purifying Nectar

Vajrasattva Empowerment and Retreat

June 6 - 8

with Kelsang Jampa

"Since purification is the root of future happiness and spiritual realizations, we should strive to cleanse our mind of delusions and negative karma by practicing the meditation and recitation of Vajrasattva." - Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

We all want to be happy and live in a peaceful world. But these wishes will never be fulfilled unless we purify our mind. According to Buddha, our thoughts and actions leave imprints that remain on our mind and these imprints are the principal causes of our experiences. Only through purifying our mind of the imprints of our past selfish and hurtful actions will we come to experience the peace, happiness and freedom we all long for. For this reason, Buddha taught the purification practice of Buddha Vajrasattva.

This event will be followed by a week of Vajrasattva Retreat, June 9 - 14 with session times at 7am, 10:30am, 4pm, and 7pm. Everyone is welcome to attend the retreat sessions.

A Peaceful Passing

Transference of Consciousness for the Deceased

September 19 - 21

with Kelsang Jampa

When others die, especially those close to us, we naturally have the wish to help them at death and after death. During this weekend event, we will learn the transference of consciousness (Powa) practice known as "The Powa Ceremony." This practice is done in conjunction with relying upon Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion. Through Avalokiteshvara’s blessings, and the power of our prayers and dedications made out of compassion, we can positively influence the mind of the deceased person. In this way, we can definitely help them be guided to a higher state, such as a Buddha’s Pure Land.

Pricing and registration will be available soon.
